My name is Glen Williams. I am a fully qualified, registered technician with over 20 years of experience, servicing appliances all over Auckland and I have been professionally trained by Fisher & Paykel NZ.

We service a wide range of appliances, including Dishwashers, Dishdrawers, Washing Machines, Dryers, Refrigerators, Freezers, Wall Ovens, Free Standing Ranges, Rangehoods, Waste Disposals and Electric Hobs. Remedy Appliance Servicing use genuine approved parts which is backed up under warranty and 90 days on labour on all our work.

What areas do you service?

Do I need to be home all day for my appliance repair?

No. We offer convenient appointment windows, typically either a morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) booking. If requested, our technician can call you approximately 30 to 60 minutes before arriving, giving you time to get home without having to wait around all day.

How long does an appliance repair usually take?

Most repairs take between 30 and 60 minutes, although this depends on the type of appliance and the fault.

Our standard first visit includes a fixed $185 call-out and labour fee for most repairs. If your appliance requires a major repair or replacement parts, we’ll discuss all costs with you before proceeding. If we need to return with parts, a return visit fee of $85 applies, plus the cost of the replacement parts.

Mobile Appliance Repairs

Do you offer mobile appliance repairs?

Yes. Our experienced technicians come directly to your home or business throughout Auckland and surrounding areas. We carry a wide range of common parts in our service vehicles, allowing us to complete many repairs during the first visit.

Can I get a quote before booking?

Because appliance faults can have many different causes, it’s usually not possible to provide an accurate repair quote over the phone.

Instead, we charge a fixed $185 call-out and labour fee for the first visit. Once we’ve diagnosed the problem, we’ll provide a clear quote before carrying out any additional work, so there are no surprises.

What’s included in the repair cost?

Our pricing may include:

A $185 call-out and labour fee for the initial visit.
An $85 return visit fee if replacement parts need to be fitted.
The cost of any replacement parts required.
A small Test & Tag fee where electrical work has been completed, ensuring your appliance meets New Zealand electrical safety requirements.
A travel fee for some locations outside our standard service area.
